Mark is a professional member of the National Association of Estate Agents (MNAEA), a NEBOSH Health and Safety qualified advisor, an Associate of the Institute of Property Management (AIRPM) and the appointed representative for Association of Residential Managing Agents ARMA-Q! Mark heads up our Leasehold Property Management Department alongside managing the operational growth of the business alongside Jacqui and Lyn and making sure the staff get their Friday morning bacon butties!
Originally from SA, Lyn has over 15 years’ experience in the lettings industry, is a professionally qualified member of ARLA (MARLA) and a Qualified Accountant. Lyn manages the overall running of the company alongside Mark and sister Jacqui, overseeing the Lettings department and managing our Prosecco supplies (for the clients of course!).
Jacqui was one of the original AJ Team working for the company in 2002! After taking time off to have her 4 children she has returned and continued take the Sales and Rental team from strength to strength and is now company Director. Jacqui is always ready with a listening ear, an uplifting chat or a kind word for both staff and clients, and is an expert mediator ensuring everyone is happy throughout the sales and rentals processes!
Nicole is one of our Associate Partners specialising in residential property sales. A property enthusiast herself, Nicole has lived, worked and raised her family locally for many years and knows Southport, Birkdale and surrounding areas extremely well- Birkdale Village being a particular favourite! Having previously worked as part of our Sales Team, Nicole is now an Associate Partner of Anthony James and carries out valuations, lists properties, negotiates sales and supports her clients through to completions well as being a consistent point of contact for her buyers looking for the perfect home.
Louise plays two vital roles within the office, both in her primary role and secondary role as Head of Health and Wellbeing. Louise monitors staff hydration levels and ensures there are always plenty of cups of tea in circulation, as well as liaising with external blue chip organisations such as The Post Office and High Street Banks.
After originally living and working in South Manchester, Jake relocated to Southport to be with Anthony James at the start of 2021. He is a key member within the rentals team having worked within the lettings industry since 2017. He liaises with Landlords and Tenants to ensure tenancies run smoothly, paperwork is up to date and maintenance/repairs are carried out promptly. Jake is responsible for his own portfolio and is the first point of contact for his Landlord and Tenants to provide friendly on hand support with all of their property needs.
After almost a decade in the residential sales industry, as a negotiator and valuer, with time served within the mortgage advisory and conveyancing sectors also, Hannah joins the brokerage of Anthony James as an Associate Partner, allowing ‘Property Sales with Hannah’ to blossom! Hannah looks after her clients one to one throughout the entire sale of their home, from listing right through to completion, with full support from the AJ team. Whilst predominately covering Formby and the surrounding areas, you are sure to see her SOLD boards dotted around Southport too! When not valuing, listing and selling properties, Hannah can often be found out for walks in the pinewoods, with her husband and two children, or enjoying a coffee in Formby village!
Having previously worked in conveyancing for many years Marie is using her legal knowledge to prepare leasehold management packs for solicitors dealing with sales. Alongside this Marie is learning the ropes and settling in well to her role as a leasehold coordinator in our leasehold management team
Ellie works in the rentals team as a property co-ordinator, managing properties in the Southport and Liverpool areas. Ellie is diligent in ensuring that the tenant’s move in process runs smoothly and efficiently, for both the landlord and tenant and throughout the course of the tenancy. Ellie can be spotted in the office typing away with freshly painted nails every week.
Kevin started working in accounts, quite by accident, 25 years ago when he injured my back labouring. He has worked in all areas of accounts during his 25 years from dealing with purchase invoices to submitting accounts to Companies House. Since 2010 Kevin has worked exclusively in the Property Management sector and has enjoyed the variations it offers to his personal development. During his spare time (not much mind you!) he enjoys spending time with his family and doing various activities with his young son. Kevin also enjoys reading, football and snooker.
Gemma has previously worked in retail for over eleven years and has built up an excellent network and customer services skills. Gemma enjoys meeting and helping clients in getting their next property, always with a lovely smile. Mom of Carter she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Georgia previously studied Architecture in Liverpool John Moore’s University before joining Anthony James Leasehold Team. Georgia works alongside Catherine , managing the blocks on behalf of the residents and is one of the main contacts for project management and any maintenance issues. She is also chief sweet keeper, and tries her best to hide the goodies from Mark Cunningham.
Mandy born and bred in Southport joined the family business in May 2023. However, she is not new to the industry. Having worked within customer services for over twenty years, Mandy decided it was time to join our award-winning team. When Mandy is not in the office, you can catch her at various gym classes and taking her two boys along the local hiking trails of Merseyside & Lancashire. With her passion and eagerness to succeed, along with her famous cheeky smile you can be rest assured that Mandy will look after our clients and customers every step of the way.
Suzie joined Anthony James in January 2024 and has quickly become a valued member of our rentals team. Previously working in estate agency & retail for over twenty years, she has exceptional customer service experience to put our client and customer’s minds at ease and will always go the extra mile. Having lived in Southport all her life making her a true ”Sandgrounder”, if you don’t catch Suzie in the office then you will most likely see her testing the local coffee shops for the best possible brew. Suzie truly has a wide array of local knowledge making her a true asset towards the services we can offer.
Having spent the last 20 years in the construction business, Nigel joined Anthony James as a Site surveyor in July 2022, Nigel’s main responsibilities are carrying out annual health & safety visits including liaising with the block management directors to facilitate compliance, repairs, and maintenance of their buildings.
AJ is responsible for all internal office staff complaint handling. He also mystery shops all local sandwich bars for free food during his lunchtime walk. AJ is one of the key team members on the “Meet and Greet” team.
