Mark Cunningham
Director

Mark is a professional member of the National Association of Estate Agents (MNAEA), a NEBOSH Health and Safety qualified advisor, an Associate of the Institute of Property Management (AIRPM) and the appointed representative for Association of Residential Managing Agents ARMA-Q! Mark heads up our Leasehold Property Management Department alongside managing the operational growth of the business alongside Jacqui and Lyn and making sure the staff get their Friday morning bacon butties!

Lyn Cunningham
Director

Originally from SA, Lyn has over 15 years’ experience in the lettings industry, is a professionally qualified member of ARLA (MARLA) and a Qualified Accountant.

Lyn manages the overall running of the company alongside Mark and sister Jacqui, overseeing the Lettings department and managing our Prosecco supplies (for the clients of course!).

Jacqui Holt
Director of Sales and Lettings

Jacqui was one of the original AJ Team working for the company in 2002! After taking time off to have her 4 children she has returned and continued take the Sales and Rental team from strength to strength and is now company Director. Jacqui is always ready with a listening ear, an uplifting chat or a kind word for both staff and clients, and is an expert mediator ensuring everyone is happy throughout the sales and rentals processes!

Nicole Trowell
Associate Partner

Nicole is one of our Associate Partners specialising in residential property sales. A property enthusiast herself, Nicole has lived, worked and raised her family locally for many years and knows Southport, Birkdale and surrounding areas extremely well- Birkdale Village being a particular favourite! Having previously worked as part of our Sales Team, Nicole is now an Associate Partner of Anthony James and carries out valuations, lists properties, negotiates sales and supports her clients through to completions well as being a consistent point of contact for her buyers looking for the perfect home.

Jessica Scott
Sales and Rentals Negotiator

Jessica joined the team after finishing her University degree in 2018 and took to estate agency like a duck to water! Having achieved her Propertymark Qualification in Residential Sales in record time, Jessica now has the responsibility of being a constant point of contact within the office, ensuring buyers, tenants, vendors and landlords are kept updated. If you have ever been in to our office you will know Jessica by her huge smile!

Lisa Roberts
Associate Partner

Lisa has 20 years of estate agency experience, 15 of those years working as part of the Anthony James team! During that time she has worked every role within the industry from sales negotiator to valuer. Lisa is a Southport local and knows a lot about the area, has bought and sold many properties and is a Landlord herself.

As one of our Associate Partners Lisa is able to utilise her years of experience both professionally and personally to give the very best service to venders and buyers, carrying out valuations, listing properties, negotiating sales and supporting vendors through to completion as well as being a consistent point of contact for my buyers looking for the perfect home.

In her free time Lisa loves to spend time with her husband and two beautiful children that are her world.

Janet Ashton
Lettings Administrator

With over 25 years experience in estate agency including a decade at Anthony James, there is not a lot Janet doesn’t know! Janet puts her experience to excellent use dealing with legal documents, tenancy paperwork, gas safety certificates and property compliance helping ensure our Landlords don’t pick up any hefty fines!

Kayleigh Jackson
Property Co-Ordinator

Kayleigh has 6 years’ experience in Residential Letting and Property Management. Having been in the industry since she was 17 years old, you could say it’s all she has ever known! A fully qualified member of ARLA since 2019, Kayleigh looks after the majority of the rental portfolio assisting tenants with property maintenance and supporting fellow property managers, Jake and Karen. If you’re looking for someone to help you through the process of finding your perfect home, Kayleigh can help you from the start of your tenancy until the very end! Kayleigh will help and support you from the application process to that exciting key collection day! Nothing gets past Kayleigh so feel free to give her a call for all things tenancy related (or not related!).

Catherine Farrelly
Senior Leasehold Co-ordinator/Mother to Leo

Having previously worked in Sales and Lettings, Catherine has spent the last few years learning all there is to know about Leasehold Property Management. Catherine manages numerous blocks on behalf of their residents as the main point of contact for accounts, maintenance and project management. She is also a pro prosecco taster!

Sintija Dzalbe
Leasehold Co-ordinator

Sintija works alongside Catherine in our Leasehold Department looking after blocks of flats and their residents. Day to day you can find her coordinating contractors to attend to repairs, processing invoices and working with her sites to plan annual budgets. During her free time she loves getting out for sandy walks on the beach with her little boy and dog Arlo.

Louise Cunningham
External Communications Delivery Consultant

Louise plays two vital roles within the office, both in her primary role and secondary role as Head of Health and Wellbeing. Louise monitors staff hydration levels and ensures there are always plenty of cups of tea in circulation, as well as liaising with external blue chip organisations such as The Post Office and High Street Banks.

Jake Tonge
Property Co-Ordinator

Jake works alongside Kayleigh, liaising with Landlords and Tenants to ensure tenancies run smoothly, paperwork is up to date and maintenance and repairs are carried out promptly! Jake is responsible for his own portfolio and is the first point of contact for his Landlords and Tenants, on hand to support them with all their property needs..

Ewan Thompson
Associate Partner

Following a successful career in recruitment, Ewan has since turned his superb match-making skills to his passion for property! Having moved to the area in his 20’s, Ewan credits this late move for his strong appreciation of how wonderful living on our little patch of coastal heaven is. 

He is also our resident sports-fanatic and a qualified personal trainer; since moving to Birkdale Ewan has established firm ties with the local community via Southport Rugby Football Club, captaining the 1st Team for the last 2 years and using his skills to give back, coaching the under 14s every weekend and supporting the SRFC Academy. 

Outside of work (when he’s not at the Rugby club) you’ll find him wandering the pinewoods with his fiancé or sat outside a local bar enjoying a well-earned refreshment.

AJ Cunningham
Director of Meet and Greet

AJ is responsible for all internal office staff complaint handling. He also mystery shops all local sandwich bars for free food during his lunchtime walk. AJ is one of the key team members on the “Meet and Greet” team.

Director of Staff Morale

In Catherine’s own words “adorable”. Primary responsibility is ensuring all staff members have had their morning cuddle and are ready for the day. Enough said.
